 "De Vuelta a Casa" presenta orgullosa una muestra de 152 piezas arqueológicas, que luego de cien años fuera del país, como parte de la llamada “Colección Keith”, regresan a Costa Rica gracias a la entrega voluntaria del Museo de Brooklyn en New York.

 This room is a recreation of the typical atmosphere in a colonial home. The walls, roof, floors, windows, and doors are original from the time and belonged to a house located in the province of Guanacaste. It was dissembled and brought right into the museum for the purpose of this exhibition.

 The ritual of death, customs, associated objects, and treatment of the dead in the pre-Columbian population who lived near the gulf in Guanacaste, are revealed to the visitor, inviting to learn about funeral practices of the old "Nicoyans" from the years 800 to 1350 AD.
