Areas of Interest

To become a volunteer at the National Museum, your interests should likely be among the following areas: anthropology, social or physical archaeology, ornithology, botany, entomology, zoology, museology, and administration.

Programs and Activities

As a volunteer at the National Museum, you can aid in the following programs:

  • Handling the collections of Natural History, Archaeology, Administration Archive (historical documents) or Library
  • Workshops and courses for the general public
  • Guided tours along the museum exhibitions
  • Exhibitions (some stages)
  • Special events
  • Administrative support to backup programs, such as the processing of procedure handbooks in several areas
