 The Department of Anthropology and History (DAH) aims to rescue and preserve the Costa Rican cultural heritage as well as obtaining it, managing it, and spreading any information about it.
The guideline that has ruled archaeological investigation has been lead basically by rescue. However, some rescue projects have turned into long-term ones.
